driveFarid Ahmad, Partner

Farid was educated in the U.K. and graduated from Brooklyn’s Technical College in 1981. After several years in various positions in the auto industry in England, he immigrated to Canada in 1991 and joined a Honda dealership as a Sales Manager and eventually General Sales Manager. While there, he attended and graduated from the NADA Dealer Candidate Academy.

A true entrepreneur, Farid eventually left the retail automotive industry to start his own recruitment company with a focus on the automotive industry. Today, auto careers group has grown to became the largest automotive recruitment companies in Canada and have placed over 1,000 candidates in the retail automotive industry since 1996.

Farid is considered an industry expert in recruitment and hiring and has been a guest speaker for Chrysler Canada, Porsche Canada, BC Dealers association as well as other automotive industry groups.

Over the years, Farid has developed many strong relationships with dealer principals and manufacturers so when he decided that he wanted to become involved with the Mergers & Acquisitions business for dealerships, he was able to combine his knowledge and experience of the industry and his contact base to grow Dealer Solutions Canada into the largest Mergers & Acquisitions Company in Canada in just a few years. As of today he has been involved in over 70 dealership transactions.

Outside of the office you can find Farid with his family entertaining or enjoying a quiet evening with his two boys and wife Kim. He is an avid traveller having been to over 40 countries and continues to add to his list.

Jordan Rees is our C.E.O and driving force of customer satisfaction and growth. Combining a mix business strategy with professional leadership and development. Jordan works with business owners and General Managers like you to help build your teams, and help discover the hidden talent in our industry. Whether you are a big dealer group, or a family run operation, Jordan will assist in determining and finding the right fit to help increase your business.

Jordan brings more than 10 years of management experience in the automotive industry. Before joining auto careers group, Jordan started his career in the industry at the Canadian Automotive Institute (C.A.I.) at Georgian College, and has experience at a corporate head office with a luxury brand in Sales and Distribution. Jordan then went on to retail where he spent five years in Sales Management and F&I. Jordan joined auto careers group as an automotive recruitment specialist and later became a partner in the new West Coast Operations, overseeing Calgary and Vancouver which service Winnipeg West to Vancouver and North to the Yukon and Territories. In 2015, Jordan was named Chief Executive Officer to oversee Canada and the expansion throughout the USA. With Jordan’s focus on building relationships, and ensuring each client receives our top service every time, he and his teams are sure to be a valuable asset to your recruitment needs.

driveMakenzie Carr, Executive Assistant

Makenzie comes to us from a recruitment and service background, with experience in telemarketing. She is a highly organized individual that strives to help our business become as efficient and successful as possible.

She has been with us since 2015. Starting out as a recruiter she learned auto careers group’s specialized recruitment process and has a clear understanding of the automotive industry. Friendly and optimistic, she enjoys building good relationships with everyone she encounters and is always ready to help out where ever it’s needed.

Makenzie enjoys hiking in the Rocky Mountains, Snowboarding and painting during her time away from the office.

driveAlissa Swail, Director of Operations - West

Alissa joins us after a career that has taken her from cars to cosmetics and back again. She has an extensive and successful history as a Financial Services Manager at both import and domestic dealerships and for many years led a large team of independent consultants as a successful Senior Sales Director for a major Cosmetics Company. Her professional history also includes extensive travel as a part of a dynamic training team who taught sales professionals how to use customer based communication in order to increase their profitability. She is the proud mother of twin daughters, a travel enthusiast and adventurer who, when she isn’t working, can be found enjoying the beaches at her second home on the coast of Ecuador.

driveLorelei Krier, Account Manager

Lorelei has over 25 years of experience in the Automotive Industry ranging from Account Management for large Insurance companies to retail experience as a Financial Services Manager. She started her career in the automotive lending side with BMO in Calgary and after a year, was transferred to the West Coast where she has never looked back.

Throughout her career, she has always loved the interaction with her peers and has proven herself to be self-motivated, confident, and an articulate sales executive with the ability to pioneer the development of start-up operations, maximize revenue generating opportunities, and deliver best-in-class staff training to ensure optimal productivity. She is an effective communicator, listener, and negotiator with expertise in identifying sales opportunities and securing lucrative multi-year contracts.

She has always had a keen interest in assisting in the development of talented individuals to ensure the success of the industry she has loved for so long.

When Lorelei isn’t working, she is probably enjoying time with her family and friends.

driveJayne Reczulski, Account Manager

Jayne is a graduate from Durham College in Human Resources Management. With a background in retail management, she discovered her passion for people. Starting as a sales associate and working her way into management, she started specializing in Human Resources and recruiting. Jayne’s passion for people and natural ability to get to know others has set her apart in the recruitment field. Jayne loves recruitment because she enjoys helping people grow within their career paths, as well as getting to meet new people along the way.

Outside of work Jayne enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs Emma and Sadie at their cottage in the Haliburton Highlands. Her love for animals especially dogs is always a sure way to gain her attention. She also enjoys new dining experiences with friends and watching the latest movies.

driveSam Wagner, Account Manager

Samantha is a graduate from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s Degree focused in Organizational Behaviour in Human Resources. She started her way working in retail and worked her way to finding something that she really enjoys doing, which is Human Resources. Samantha is an outgoing individual who likes to meet new people, with that in mind she realized that recruitment was the route for her, as she loves helping others to succeed.

When Samantha isn’t working she loves to travel whenever she can or spend time at her cottage in Haliburton County. Along with spending time with her family and her friends, she also enjoys watching movies and reading a good book.

driveCharmaine Perez, Recruiter

Charmaine is a graduate of Psychology and has extensive years of recruitment experience. Having started her recruitment career in IT, she then moved on to associate positions, heavy equipment, and then automotive. Her variety of experience and passion in recruitment, not to mention her years of study in Psychology, gives her an edge in the field.

When she’s not working, she enjoys reading books, playing video games, binge watching TV series, and playing with her dogs.

driveChristie Abagon, Recruiter

Christie has a degree in Management Accounting, but her background is in Customer Service and Recruitment. She has experience working for multiple industries, but her passion is in Lead Sourcing in the Automotive industry.

She is driven to help ACG find the perfect candidates for our clients, and her people and time management skills are her strongest assets in achieving her goals.

To be able to lead a balanced life, Christie makes it a point to spend enough time with her child and husband, who love to go on short trips together as a family.
